James Thomson, Managing Director of specialist surface finishing equipment manufacturer Guyson International, will be attending the Goodwood Festival of Speed this weekend (July 3-5th) with the exclusive Guyson E12, based on the Jaguar XJ-S V12 and designed by William Towns.

The Guyson E12 will be competing in the Elite Performance Cabriolet 1965-1975 class at the 15th staging of the Cartier ‘Style et Luxe’ Concours d’Elégance event, possibly the world's most coveted car design competition.

The event is set on the tranquil lawns of Goodwood House and judging is by a distinguished panel of personalities from the arts and society, including Sir Anthony Bamford of JCB excavators, the model Yasmin Le Bon, chef James Martin, musician Will Young, the editor of Tatler magazine Catherine Ostler and furniture designer Viscount Lindley.

The 2009 Goodwood Festival of Speed takes place on 3-5th July at Goodwood House, Chichester, West Sussex, England. The Cartier Style et Luxe arena is open for viewing throughout the Festival weekend, with judging taking place on Saturday and Sunday to an accompaniment of live world-class jazz. Entry is strictly by advance ticket only.
