In May, Guyson International’s two divisions, Blast & Wash and Hose & Couplings, exhibited at CHEMUK 2025, held at the NEC Birmingham.

CHEMUK is the UK’s largest expo supporting chemicals, process engineering and formulated products industries. During the two-day event, CHEMUK welcomed over 500 specialist exhibitors and more than 100 expert speaker sessions, exploring the key challenges and opportunities across the UK’s chemical and chemical product sectors.

In the Chemical Laboratory Show Zone, Guyson’s Blast & Wash division exhibited alongside partners Inventec Performance Chemicals, global providers of soldering, cleaning, cooling and coating materials for electronic, semiconductor and industrial applications. Drawing upon their partnership at the event, offered a fantastic opportunity to showcase Guyson’s comprehensive range of Inventec solvents, including their 3M solvent replacements, PFAS-free cleaning chemicals and hydrocarbon solutions for co-solvent cleaning, all of which are compatible with Guyson’s Microsolve mono and co-solvent cleaning systems. As Inventecs official UK distributor, Guyson can supply Inventec’s full range of solvents.

Taking centre stage on the Blast & Wash stand was Guyson’s brand-new detergent cleaning range, which was exclusively launched to the attendees of CHEMUK 2025. The range included Guyson’s Formula GP, Formula PB and Formula HD, a suite of aqueous based detergents formulated for use across a variety of applications and industries.

Designed for cleaning hard surfaces, Guyson’s Formula GP is suitable for a wide range of applications and is highly efficient at removing contaminants from plastics, glass, metals and other materials, as well as removing brake dust. This general purpose, low-alkaline ultrasonic cleaner is suitable for use on aluminium and safer to use than caustic materials.

Formula PB, Guyson’s polisher brightener ultrasonic cleaner is highly advantageous for brightening non-ferrous metals, descaling limescale, removing oxides, rusts, shop soils and welding splatter from aluminium, steel and stainless steel. This liquid acid product also serves as a preconditioning agent for aluminium, steel and stainless steel, as well as an anti-rust treatment solution.

Completing the range, Formula HD is a powerful, caustic-based heavy duty ultrasonic cleaner, specifically developed for cleaning ferrous metals. It effectively removes heavy oils, grease, carbon and is ideal for cleaning steel mould tools, extrusion dies and carbonised deposits from steel components.

Guyson’s new detergent formulations combine excellent cleaning performance with low dilution ratios and temperature requirements, making them an efficient and cost-effective solution for ultrasonic cleaning operations. Each formula detergent cavitates and degases efficiently, and is fully water-rinseable, ensuring a stain free finish.
